Why here

Quiet pitch, camp standards

Four images, four reasons.

Mountain biking

Straight from your pitch into the woods: mountain- and gravel-bike trails around Linz.

Settled in

Behind hedge and lavender, all to yourself — you’re in safe hands here.

At night

Mostly, you hear the forest.

The view

The Mühlviertel in hills, the Danube in the haze — the view is yours.

Trails, quiet, the view — and a place that’s all your own.

From here

What you can do from here

Most of it lies to the north — in the quiet Mühlviertel, without a detour through Linz traffic. The town itself stays a short hop downhill.

To Linz by e-bike8 min by car · 30 min e-bike

To Linz by e-bike

Our favourite tour: car-free over the Pfenningberg, along the Danube to the main square — and back past Pleschinger lake. On an e-MTB the climbs are easy. Linz itself is just 1.2 km away.

Danube Cycle Path6 km · 200 m down

Danube Cycle Path

The Danube, minutes from here. One of Europe's finest cycle paths — practically at the door.

Pfenningberg — hiking & runningfrom the doorstep

Pfenningberg — hiking & running

Right behind the pitch. Easy to medium loops, part of the long-distance Donausteig trail.

JKU Science Park~15 min e-bike
A base for JKU & IT:U

Scientists welcome.

JKU and IT:U: about 15 minutes by e-bike, camper left on the pitch — a fine ride instead of a parking search. Summer school, conference, guest stay. The campus has bike service and showers; the pitch has fibre 500/500 and the quiet to work.

Invoice to your institution — on request, via the invoice form. Run by someone who works there too.
A note for cyclists

We sit about 200 m above Linz. The Danube Cycle Path is down in the valley — the descent is a joy, the climb back is honest work. With an e-bike, no problem. Without one, it’s a sporting programme. Plan accordingly.
